David Stevens

David was born April 19, 1956 in Barrackville, WV to Earl P. and Vonda J. Stevens.  He is a graduate of St. Marys High School, St. Marys, WV (1974) and attended college at Ohio Valley University, Parkersburg Community College, Fairmont State College and Southern Christian University (Masters in Ministry). 

David is married and has two children.  He began preaching in 1971 at Mooresville, WV in a Gospel meeting with his father (Earl) and brother (Steve).  He has held two fulltime works:  New Lexington, OH (1978-1991) and Groveport, OH (1991 to the present). 

David wrote an article every month for seventeen years for Therefore Stand entitled, “Gems From the Greek.”  As of this date, he has written more than 200 articles.  These articles are indexed by RSI (Restoration Serials Index).  In the future, some of these articles will appear on this web page.  Just click on “biblical articles.”
